Tony Leal

Funeral service for Tony Leal, 87 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Sallisaw City Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 13, 1935 in Artesia, California to Rosa (Cardosa) Leal and Frank Leal and passed away on January 13, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Frances Marie (Rocha) Leal on July 25, 1958. She preceded him in death on November 23, 2021. Mr. Leal was a dairy farm owner and operator and of the Catholic faith.

Survivors are daughters: Fran Billingsley and Tim of Lemoore, CA, Diane Sanders and John of Sallisaw, OK and Virginia Villa and Laz of Avila Beach, CA; grandchildren: Joseph Contente and Nichole, Ashley Villa, Matthew Billingsley, Cory Billingsley and Megan, Bridget Billingsley, Sarah Balfanz and Jacob, Laz Villa II., Michaela Billingsley, Hannah Stone and Garrett,Maggie Billingsley, Katie Wilson and Troy, Claire Villa, and Haley Billingsley; great-grandchildren: Mason Paulo, London Contente, Rowan Contente, Betsey Contente, Bo Contente, Elodie Billingsley, Harper Billingsley, Dane Billingsley, Emery Billingsley, Henley Billingsley, Genesis Balfanz, and Brooks Balfanz; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; his parents, Frank and Rosa; sisters, Elvira, Angelina, Entelvena, Myrtle, Lena, Mary and Rosa and brothers, Frank, John, Domingus, Manuel, Joe and Benny.

Active Pallbearers will be Joe Contente, Matt Billingsley, Chewy Villa, Cory Billingsley, Steve Leal and Eddie Leal.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Rowan Contente, Jacob Balfanz, Manny Pinheiro, Troy Wilson and Garrett Stone.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday and 10 AM – 8 PM Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.

Rosary will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home.
