Funeral Service for Tony Lee Carter, 47, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Round Mountain Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 11, 1974 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Carolyn Laverne (Cowett) Carter and Russell Marvin Carter and passed away on September 5, 2021 in Pratt, Kansas. He was married to Tilira (Hampton) Carter on August 12, 2004 in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are:

wife: Tilira Carter of the home;

1 son: Quinton Carter of the home;

1 daughter: Amarra Carter of the home;

parents: Marvin and Carolyn Carter of Vian, OK;

3 sisters: Debbie Carter of Vian, OK, Linda Farless of Sallisaw, OK; and Stacey Baldwin of Sallisaw, OK;

mother-in-law: Debbie Hampton of Wagner, OK;

special niece: Courtney Carter of Vian, OK;

host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles Hampton.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
