Viewing for Troy Wayne Payne, 59, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 1 – 8 PM on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma.  Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 21, 1962 in Vian, Oklahoma to Shirley Ann (Cupp) Payne and Nial Troy Payne and passed away on March 13, 2021 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Troy was an outdoorsman that spent his time fishing, barbecuing with friends and family, and popping the top on a cold one.

Survivors are:

3 sisters: LaDonna Cooper and Tammie Fields both of Vian, OK and Angela Hollan and Larry of Stilwell, OK;

1 brother: Larry Fields and Cindy of Vian, OK;

special nieces and nephews: Bub, Sissy, Idie, Pup, Boy and Jade;

17 great-nieces and great-nephews;

special aunt: Ann “Goatie” Baty;

other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Allen “Booger” Fields; maternal grandmother, Neoma Lee Kennedy; and one niece, Dawana Lee Ann “Dew” Colston.

Viewing will be 1 – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
