Funeral Services for Velma Mannon will be at 2 pm on December 11, 2017 at White Chapel Church in Gore, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Greenleaf Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. in Sallisaw
Viewing will be Friday 4 – 8 pm, Saturday 10 am – 8 pm, and Sunday 2 – 8 pm at Agent Mallory
Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw. The family will greet Sunday 4 – 6 pm at the funeral home.

Velma Irene Mannon, 93 of Gore, Oklahoma passed away on December 6, 2017 in Gore, Oklahoma. She was born on August 30, 1924 in Gore, Oklahoma to Willie (Stanhope) Deen and Ray Deen. She was married to Virgil Lee Mannon, he preceded her in death on December 27, 1983. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors are:
1 son: Jerry Mannon of Gore, OK
1 granddaughter: Carin Davenport and husband, Jimmy of Barling, AR
2 grandsons: Kerry Mannon and wife, Rachel of Warrenton, VA and Shane Mannon and wife, Katrina of Gore, OK
6 great grandchildren and 1 on the way: Logan Mannon, Breanna Davenport, Layne Mannon, Darin Davenport, Chase Mannon, and Kyler Mannon
1 brother: J.L. Deen of Arkoma, OK
numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil; her parents, Ray and Willie Deen; 2 brothers, Bill and Charles Deen; and sister, Jean Mannon.
