Services for Velta Geneva Warner, 85 of Tulsa, Oklahoma will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery in Stilwell, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on September 22, 1932 in Stilwell, Oklahoma to Addie Ruth Kelley and Albert Hunter and passed away on April 16, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was married to Carl J. Warner in July 1953 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She was a dedicated mother and wife as well as an employee of the Tulsa County Court Clerk for 30 years, before retiring on August 31, 1990 and possibly never missed a day a work. She loved and supported the rodeo and horse racing industry. She loved to travel and see the world. Above all, her grandchildren and great grandchildren were first and last on her mind.

4 Grandsons: Bryan Warner and Wife, Maco, of Sallisaw, OK, Travis Warner of Tulsa, OK, Austin Vokoun of Tulsa, OK, and Freddie Gannaway and Wife, Crystal, of Drumwright, OK

1 Great Granddaughter: Peyton Gannaway of Drumwright, OK

3 Great Grandsons: Kaden, Luke and Clayton Warner of Sallisaw, OK

1 Brother: Farold Hunter of Long Island, NY

She was preceded in death by her Parents: Albert and Addie (Kelley) Hunter, Husband of 49 years: Carl, 1 Son: Bobby L. Warner, 5 Sisters: Hazel Thompson, Mary Featherston, Betty Conger, Maxine Choate and Florence Bateman and 5 Brothers: Arthur, J.W., Jack, Harold and Sonny Hunter

Active Pallbearers will be Bryan Warner, Austin Vokoun, Travis Warner, Kaden Warner, Freddie Gannaway, Ron Philpott, Ken Philpott and Gary Lowe.

Honorary Pallbearers will be her Nephews and Family Members.

Viewing will be Wednesday noon – 8 pm at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 – 8 pm.
