Virgil 'Choogie' Smoke

Graveside Service for Virgil “Choogie” Smoke, 50 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 11, 2023 at Ribbon Cemetery in Spavinaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on May 18, 1973 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Gloria King Smoke and passed away on September 7, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Survivors are mother, Gloria King of the home; one aunt, Loretta King Pigeon of Sallisaw, OK; two uncles, Mike Smoke and Julie of Sallisaw, OK and Billy Smoke and Bobbie of Eucha, OK;  and several cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry and Sarah Smoke; three uncles, George, Thomas and Toby Smoke and one aunt, Rhonda Smoke.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Smoke, Clint Smoke, Kevin Smoke, Colton Smoke, Jason King, Curt King, Scott Norman, Winterhawk Grimmett and Harley Tillerson.

Viewing will be 2 – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 4 – 8 pm.
