I have a story very few people know. When I was in high school I was being harrassed by a guy on my way to and from school. Every student who tried to defend me was hurt. It was back in the days when bullying wasn't a thing. My Daddy found out and he went to Jack Mosely. I can still all these years later remember the look on his face when he came to me and asked for my story. After I talked to him. He stood tall and proud and said you won't have trouble again. This is not how we treat our young ladies. And I never had trouble from that individual again. I don't know what was said but I knew from the look in Mr. Mosely's face I was going to be safe. He was a man that all those years ago instilled a sense of safety in a young girl. Didn't stay around area much after I got older so don't know what the rest of his life was like. But he was a hero to me when I needed one.
