Survivors are wife, Debra of the home; two daughters, Carry Pettit of Sallisaw, OK and Crystal McDanell of Gans, OK; three sons, Jess Pettit of Sallisaw, OK, Michael McDanell of Monroe, LA and Jeffrey Mooren of Sallisaw, OK; ten grandchildren and one great grandson; four sisters, Sharon Holmes of Sallisaw, OK, Karen Pettit of Sallisaw, OK, Imogene Hutchinson of Tahlequah, OK and Ruby Nigh of Salt Lake City, UT; two brothers, George Pettit of Marble City, OK and Chester Pettit of Sallisaw, OK; and several other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Marvin Pettit.
