Funeral Service for Virginia Lee Garrison will be held at 10 am on Thursday, September 23rd at House of Prayer in Gore, Oklahoma with burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Gore, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Virginia Lee Garrison, 86, of Muskogee was born on May 5, 1935 in Vian, Oklahoma and passed away and went to be with Jesus on Sunday, September 19, 2021 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was married to Laymon Garrison on January 23, 1952 in Vian, Oklahoma. Virginia finished her Master’s Degree in 1977 and worked as a school teacher in Gore, Oklahoma for 15 years. She lived a Christian life for 67 years that influenced many.

She is survived by her husband Laymon Garrison of 69 years; sons Rudy Garrison of Caldwell, KS, and Gary Garrison of Gore, OK; one sister Linda Venable; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

Active Pallbearers will be Hunter Garrison, Pete Garrison, Bo Ridley, Stanley Smith, Steve Cooper, and Ryan Patrick.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Garrison, Kenny Smith and Ricky James.
