Funeral Service for Virginia Sally Smith, 67, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Vian, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Virginia Sally Smith was born on March 22, 1952 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Willie Mae (Gritts) Smith and Heaver Smith and passed away on December 2, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was retired from Whirlpool Manufacturing after 37 years and of the Christian faith.

Survivors are:

1 daughter: Angela Dirling of Vian, OK

1 son: Anthony Smith “Moe” of Vian, OK

1 grandchild: Frankie Ruiz

1 brother: James H. Smith of Schulter, OK

numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 7 sisters, Ruby Knotts, Judy Brown, Ellen Cupp, Ann Smith, Alice Stevenson, Tewa Gentry and Faye Smith; 2 brothers, Squan Smith and John Smith; and 2 aunts, Katherine L.C. Baker and Aggie Pennington.

Active Pallbearers will be Ronnie Baldwin, Gary Brown, Clyde Brown, Joe Stevenson, Jr., Lenny Stahl, Jason Smith and Dink Dirling.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas Webber, Charlie Buck and Louis Bland.

Viewing will be 4 – 8 PM Wednesday and 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, Oklahoma where the family will greet from 6 – 8 PM Thursday.
