Virginia (Depew) Yracheta

Virginia (Depew) Yracheta, age 82, of Sallisaw Oklahoma, passed away on March 8, 2025. Born on March 20, 1942, in San Luis Obispo, California, she was the daughter of Annie (Moreno) Depew and Albert Depew. Virginia's life was characterized by her deep commitment to family, her faith, and her work as a preschool teacher in Oceano, California. Virginia was united in marriage to Julio Yracheta in 1963.

She is survived by her husband, Julio of the home; one son, Emilio Salvador Yracheta of Nipomo, CA; three daughters: Yolanda Grace Garcia and Robert of Nipomo, CA, Stella Renee Carreras and David of Arroyo Grande, CA, and Andrea Sofia Yracheta Guerrero and Chris of Sallisaw, OK; six grandchildren: Robert Garcia, Martin Anthony Garcia, Alicia Renee Carreras, Christina Marie Carreras, Adrian David Carreras, and Tyrion Takenzo Yracheta Guerrero; three great-grandchildren, Martin, Isabelle, and Sasha Rose; one sister, Ruby Moreno of Oceano, CA; one brother, Jerry Depew of Reno, NV; and a multitude of extended relatives and friends.

Virginia was preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Yracheta; her parents; and seven siblings: Michael Depew, Johnny Depew, Lucy Trejo, Della Sanchez, Edward Depew, Albert Jr. Depew, and Irene Villarreal.

A Rosary Service to honor Virginia will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 12:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM, both at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The funeral services are under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. Virginia will be laid to rest at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery in Arroyo Grande, California.

Virginia (Depew) Yracheta will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched with her warmth and love.
