W.C. 'Dub' Seely

Memorial Service for W.C. “Dub” Seely, 90, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Blue Ribbon Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 11, 1932 in Marlow, Oklahoma to Myrtle (Offield) Seely and Otis Seely and passed away on February 12, 2023 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was married to Judy Ann (Brekke) Seely on September 17, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa. He was a race horse trainer, horseshoer and a veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors are wife: Judy of the home; twin daughters: Trina Whitney and Bryan of Burleson, TX and Tina Seely of Sallisaw, OK; three daughters: Jan Duarte, Cheri Seely and Penne Bell, all of Texas; son: Dan Seely of Sallisaw, OK; numerous grandchildren; two brothers: Ben Seely of South Carolina and Dean Seely of Chandler, TX; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Nora, Angie and Wanda; and four brothers, Bill, Gene, Micky and Jimmy Don.
