Funeral Service for Walker Dean Locust, 38, of Vian, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Redbird Smith Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 20, 1984 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma to Jessica (Morris) Locust and Bobby Dean Locust and passed away on January 5, 2023 in Gore, Oklahoma. He was married to Latosha Jo (Sloan) Locust on February 2, 2009 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. He was a farm hand, ranch hand and of the Knight Hawk Society faith.

Survivors are wife of 19 years, Latosha Jo Locust of the home; five children, Madison, Mya, Kloie, Addilynn and Paisley; father and mother, Bobby and Jessica Locust of Muldrow, OK; three sisters, Bobbie Green and Wesley of Sallisaw, OK, Kaleytha Copeland and Brent of Vian, OK, and Ashley Ryman and Brett of Vian, OK; one brother, Jess Locust of Marble City, OK; grandmother, Carolyn Jean Locust of Marble City, OK; 15 nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Watt Cheater, Daisey Chuculate, Jess Morris, Jr., Rosie Lane Morris and George Locust; one uncle, Steven Locust; one sister, Taleytha Locust.

Active Pallbearers will be Wesley Green, Brent Copeland, Hunter Copeland, Brett Ryman, Derek Shade, Stryker Fields and Steven “Boog” Locust.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jess Locust, Stevie Morris, Richard Sequichie, Kevin “Bull” Locust, George “Chub” Locust and Anthony Locust.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Thursday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK.
