Graveside services for Wanese Philpot, 82 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 21, 2020 at Sallisaw City Cemetery under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

She was born on April 12, 1938 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Gladys (Mysinger) Wells and Floyd Wells and passed away on September 16, 2020 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She was married to Jack Philpot on April 19, 1958 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2018. Mrs. Philpot worked on the production line at Starr Furniture and Holley Carburetor.

Survivors are:

1 son: Steve Philpot of Sallisaw, OK;

1 sister: Phyllis Long of Sallisaw, OK;

several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Floyd and Gladys Wells, husband: Jack Philpot, sister: Juanita Goad and 3 brothers: Kenneth, Lloyd and Wayne Wells.

Viewing will be 10 am – 4 pm Saturday and 2 pm – 8 pm Sunday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
