Funeral Service for Wayne Griffin, 80 of Moffett, Oklahoma will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Fleetwood Cemetery in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on April 14, 1944 in Moffett, Oklahoma to Lela Marie (Stewart) Griffin and William Alfred Griffin and passed away on February 12, 2025 in Roland, Oklahoma. He was married to Shirley (Jackson) Griffin. She preceded him in death on February 25, 2004. Mr. Griffin worked at Riverside Furniture and was a part puller at Roberts Salvage. He enjoyed catfishing, hunting and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Survivors are children, Diana Bynum-Woolworth of Gans, OK, Melinda Vigil and James of Ozark, AR and Scottie Bynum of Muldrow, OK; 14 grandchildren, Kristina Griffin and Amber of Decatur, AR, Allen McCullers and Gentrie of Fort Smith, AR, Aaron Smith and Erica of Tulsa, OK, Brandon Burris and Erin of Gans, OK, Elizabeth Bynum of Gans, OK, Clay Ridglay and Jacklyn of Fayetteville, AR, Mathew Vigil of Spiro, OK, Kyle Bynum of Muldrow, OK, Chris Bynum of Sallisaw, OK, Kasey Bynum of Sallisaw, OK, Kaidyn Bynum of Muldrow, OK, Stephanie Smith and Clayton of Decatur, AR, Ashley Harriman of Guthrie, OK and Devin Harriman and Samantha of Sallisaw, OK and 22 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; one son, Gerald Griffin and one brother, Elmo Griffin.

Active Pallbearers will be Bobby Bentley, Bobby Bentley, Jr., Shane Copleand, Brandon Burris, Matthew Vigil and Chris Bynum. 

Viewing will be noon - 8 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow where the family will greet 5 - 7 PM.
