Funeral service for Wayne Wilborn McClure, 87 of Sallisaw, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on September 1, 1932 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Iva Lee (Holland) McClure and Cornelious Robert “Neal” McClure and passed away on June 7, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mr. McClure was a retired construction worker and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors are:

3 daughters: Sherry Mars of Sand Springs, OK, Lanna Sailor and Rodney of Owasso, OK and Vickie Gonzales and Jimmy of San Antonio, TX;

1 son: Dennis McClure of Sallisaw, OK;

5 grandchildren: Amy, Ryan, Kelsy, Garrett and Brandon;

3 great grandchildren: Lindsey, Parker and Colt;

4 sisters: Mary Barger of Sallisaw, OK, Martha Taylor of Sallisaw, OK, Brenda Bryant of Sallisaw, OK and Linda Bush of Marble City, OK;

4 brothers: Clayborn McClure of Sallisaw, OK, Cecil McClure of Sallisaw, OK, Connie McClure of Sallisaw, OK and Clayton McClure of Grove, OK;

He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers: Leon, Hubert, Hulen and John B. McClure.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 8 PM Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 5 – 7 PM Wednesday.
