She was born on October 23, 1935 in Round Mountain Community, Vian, Oklahoma to Niva Iona (Vessell) Hefton and O.L. Hefton and passed away on September 22, 2021 in Vian, Oklahoma. She was married to Weslie Lipe. He preceded her in death. She was a caregiver and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors are:
3 daughters: Marilyn Jackson of Mustang, OK, Patricia Davis of Tulsa, OK and Carol Lipe of Vian, OK;
1 son: Robert Lipe of Tulsa, OK;
8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren;
2 sisters: Melba Baker of Vian, OK and Nell Hefton of Gentry, AR;
2 brothers: Dale Hefton of Georgia and Wendell Hefton of Texas;
numerous other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Weslie and Mark Lipe; husband; parents; one brother, Bill Hefton; and three sisters, Wanda Young, Lois McCauley and Reba Lindsey.
