Graveside Service for William “Sonny” Barnes, 69 of Roland, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Roland City Cemetery in Roland, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on February 4, 1951 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Anna Lea (Gantt) Barnes and Jack Robert Barnes and passed away on December 7, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mr. Barnes was a salesman, publisher, independent phone book salesman

Survivors are:

2 sons: John Barnes and Mary and William Edward Barnes of Muldrow, OK;

7 grandchildren: Tyler, John Jr., Kailey, Brandon, Sophia, Morgan and Chloe;

1 brother: Jackie Barnes of Roland, OK;

1 niece: Amy Barnes of Roland, OK;

1 nephew: Jack Barnes II of Liberty, OK;

numerous great nieces, nephews and a host of friends

He was preceded in death by his parents

Active Pallbearers will be John Barnes, Jr., Brandon Barnes, Kolton Barnes, Wade Smith and Dustin Smith.

Viewing will be noon – 8 pm Wednesday at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Muldrow.
