William "Bill" Epps

Funeral Service for William "Bill" Epps, 83 of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Gans Assembly of God Church in Gans, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Gans Cemetery in Gans, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

He was born on January 13, 1941 at home in a rural community near Booneville, Arkansas to Lillian (Loyd) Epps and Ocie Estes Epps. He passed away on August 13, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married Saundra (Acton) Epps on August 15, 1959 in Gans, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on May 12, 2022. He was a retired evangelist and pastor with the Assembly of God Church for over 50 years. He loved traveling, singing and bringing the word of the Lord to everyone. He was a beloved husband, father, papa and Papa Bill who will be greatly missed by his beloved family.

Survivors are three daughters, Cindy Rhoads and Steve of Broken Arrow, OK, Billie Chance and Brad of Baton Rouge, LA and Tammy Peck and Townes of Pearland, TX; six grandchildren, Andy Chance and Laura, Caleb Rhoads, T. J. Peck and Rayven, Sean Chance, Calli Rhoads and Madysn Peck; four great-grandchildren, Caden Chance, Ainsley Chance, Rylee Rhoads and Spencer Peck; many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. He was a great pastor, preacher, mentor and friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and one sister, Jeanne Saulsberry.

Viewing will be 10 am - 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw where the family will greet 6 - 8 pm.
