William Wade 'Bill Goombi, Sr.

Funeral Service for William Wade “Bill” Goombi, Sr., 75, of Wagoner, Oklahoma will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Bush Cemetery in Marble City, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc. The family will be gathering for a meal after the service.

He was born on July 22, 1948 in Mountain View, Oklahoma to Bessie (Archambeau) Goombi and Robert Goombi and passed away on December 9, 2023 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He was married to Juanita Faye (Bigfeather) Goombi on January 4, 1968 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She preceded him in death on June 21, 2023. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, 1969-1970 B Battery 1st, 7th Battalion, 15th Artillery.  Bill was also a chaplain for the UAW Union and a Float Control Operator at Ford Glass Plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma from 1971-2010.

Survivors are one daughter, Trina Adams and Jason of Tulsa, OK; five grandchildren, Krystal Reynolds and Jordan of Jenks, OK, Stallen Goombi and Brieanna of Norman, OK, Morgan Roberts and Darien of Porter, OK, Jordan Gaard and Justen of Owasso, OK, and Kyler Adams of Tulsa, OK; six great-grandchildren, Zander, Wyatt, Alex, Addisyn, Bear and Jaxen; three sisters, Frances Tsoodle of Albuquerque, N.M., Irene Johnson of Lawton, OK, and Katie Goombi of Mountain View, OK; two brothers, Wes Goombi of Mountain View, OK and James Goombi of Broken Arrow, OK; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; son, William “Billy” Goombi, Jr.; parents; and two brothers, Lloyd Goombi and Robert Goombi, Jr.

Active Pallbearers will be Stallen Goombi, Jason Adams, Kyler Adams, Brian Bigfeather, Jerry Bigfeather, Darien Roberts and Robert Bigfeather.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Justen Gaard, Wesley Goombi and James Goombi.

Viewing will be 10 AM – 1 PM Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet Noon – 1 PM.
