Services will be at 10:00am on 9/16/2017 at First Christian Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Cremation is under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
Active Pallbearers will be John Bennett, Johnathon Taylor, Tim Burmaster, Larry Coleman,
Marvin Cain and Rick Taylor.
Viewing will be Thursday 1 – 8pm and 10 am – 8 pm Friday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw.
The family will greet Friday from 6 – 8 pm.

William A. “Wild Bill” Talbott III, 77 of Sallisaw, OK passed away on 9/3/2017 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born on 07-04-1940 in Peoria, IL to Alvira Ruth Engle Talbott and William A. Talbott II. He was married to Hilda Christine Fisher Talbott on 11-19-1999 in Van Buren, AR. William A. “Wild Bill” Talbott III was a U.S. Navy veteran, grounds keeper for Kansas City Royals, Pepperdine University and several other baseball teams including Sallisaw High School. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors or Disabled Veterans.
Survivors are:
wife: Christine of the home
2 sons: Matthew A. Talbott of Tulsa, OK and William A. Talbott IV of Okemah, OK
4 step children: Carrie Bowman, Cheryl Renfro, Rhonda Rector, Russell McCalment
12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren
1 sister: Rosemary
1 brother: Charlie
several nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother: Mickey Talbott
