Funeral Service for Wynona Fay Schreck Teague, 89, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, will be at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Agent Mallory Martin Chapel in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at W.C. Teague Cemetery in North of Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Service, Inc.

Wynona Fay Schreck Teague of Sallisaw, Oklahoma entered into rest on July 2, 2024. She was born on May 13, 1935 in Canute, Oklahoma to Andrew Frank and Elizabeth Schones Schreck.

Wynona was a home provider and homemaker. She was of the Catholic faith and attended Catholic School as a child. She met her husband in Canute, Oklahoma when he was working in the oil fields. They married and relocated to Sallisaw, Oklahoma and raised their children there. She worked hard with her husband over the years on the farm. She learned what to do in order to survive and provide for her family especially when times were hard in the 50's and 60's. Wynona had a good sense of humor, was a good listener and always willing to help people if she could. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Wynona was always an optimist about life and had a very positive attitude.

She was a great person and loved by her family. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Wynona had 10 children; seven daughters and three sons and 20 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren. Her Children were: Mary Teague of Sallisaw. Judy Long and Larry of Sallisaw and their children, Todd Long and children Rowan and Ben, Troy Long and children Alli and Felix and Travis Long and his children Mara and Jensyn. Debbie Farris and Garland of Sallisaw, their children Deana and Chris Eichholz and their children Carolyn, Samantha, Michaela and Arianna of Sallisaw, Garland O Farris III and Janine and children Jason and Melissa of Greensboro, North Carolina, Sonia and Ben Flake and children William, Preston and Harrison of Springdale, AR. Rocky Teague and Cheri and their son Jonathan Teague of Sallisaw and his children Emily, Tyler and Kaleb. Sandy and Mike Polasek of Karnes City, TX their children, Jason Polasek and Pam and children Cody, Jayden, Jayleigh. Jacob Polasek and children Jacob Wyatt, Jaycee, Thomas Logan. Jackie and child Teague Michael. Josh Polasek and children Abbigale and Zane. Sherry Teague of Sallisaw and her daughter Sasha. Rhonda Cowett and John of Sallisaw and children Amber, Kenny, Kendra. Abby Erwin and Shane her son Toby and Allysa and children Ty, Toby, Elijah, Alyvia and Sophia. Calvin and Pam Teague of Sallisaw his children Cortland and Miranda. Clifton Teague and Sara of Sallisaw and their daughters Brook and Joe and their children Ryder and Rayden and Brinley Teague.

Wynona was preceded in death by her husband Warren Calvin Teague in 2003. One daughter Sandy Teague Polasek in 2004 and son-in-law Larry Long in 2017. Two brothers, David Schreck and Garland Schreck of Elk City, Oklahoma, four sisters, Janelle Schreck White, Elk City, OK, Roma Lee Dean, Farmersville, LA, Charolotte Howard of Mesquite, TX and Carolyn Crenwelge of Marlow, OK and her parents Andrew Frank Schreck and Elizabeth Schones Schreck. Living is one sister Chiquita Draper of Queens City, Texas.

Viewing will be 1 - 8 PM Monday at Agent Mallory Martin Funeral Home in Sallisaw, OK where the family will greet 6 - 8 PM.
